The Eyeshot HD Action Camera on its own has a great specification, including a 16 megapixel Panasonic CMOS image processor (higher resolution than the GoPro Hero 3+) and the same Ambarella A7L chipset that's inside the GoPro 3+ cam. The result is video that's every bit as good as the market leader in terms of quality and resolution. Couple that with a really excellent set of features, including a 2.4GHz wrist watch remote control and live view preview, WiFi for beaming live view to your smartphone and support for microSD and HMDI out, and you've got a stonking product. The camera ships with a waterproof case good down to 60 meters for 1 hour, and the wrist watch (which also tells the time!) is also waterproof. The product feels genuinely well built, with a solid feel and no sign of the company cutting corners in any components or design features. We particularly like the fact that it comes with a removeable 1130mAh lithium battery pack (good for 90 minutes video capture), which means you can get extra batteries and not be at the mercy of a recharge during your activity. All in all a superbly impressive product, and one that deserves to grab market share from the leading brands over the coming months.
